some things are just too over the top not to love.
like when i was five, i had a white cotton shirtdress with a circle skirt. it was covered in a purple elephant pattern. i loved twirling in the dress, and kind of wish i had it now, framed or something.
that’s actually probably one of my first and fondest memories of my childhood, twirling in an elephant dress in the front of my dad’s salon in fullerton. i would try to twirl as fast as i could, to see how high and wide the skirt would flare.
hideousness can be AMAZING.
